"I not only enjoyed the course, but when I left Orlando after the close of class on Friday afternoon I went to Ormond Beach [about an hour and a half from Orlando] to visit my parents. My 81-year-old mother is a "worrier". She has also suffered from adult onset Diabetes for twenty some odd years. Her greatest fear is that she will go into an insulin reaction during the night and go into a coma. So for several Years she wakes up several nights a week, checks her blood sugar level and it is always abnormal. So she stays awake a couple of hours sipping orange Juice and trying to get the reading back within normal limits. Naturally she is tired and depressed the next day.
When I got to Ormond that Friday evening she had been up at night for 8 straight days and was really tired and depressed. I thought hypnosis could benefit her but was skeptical that I was skilled enough to help her having just gotten out of school. So my plan was to call you for a referral to a Hypnotherapist in the Daytona Ormond area. I thought in the meantime I might be able to help her relax though. So Friday evening I put her into hypnosis and did the ego enhancing script with a couple of additional suggestions. That night she slept through the night for the first time in 8 nights and awoke refreshed. During the day we could all see her energy level and attitude had improved.
I had another similar session with her Saturday and told her how to do the Finger exercises. She continued to go through the nights without an insulin Reaction. Before I left to go back to Tennessee the following Friday I had Written a customized script for her. It has now been almost three weeks and She still has not had an insulin reaction and is feeling better and in better Spirits than she has been in years. Not only is she sleeping, but also last week she had a doctors appt. Including Blood tests. They have her come in at 7:30 in the morning fasting but it is Usually about 10:00 before they get to her. She almost always has an insulin Reaction in the office while she is waiting. This time she did not have a Reaction. So we made believers out of my folks."
